Pakistan lost the 5th ODI and lost the series under the controversy of Haider's, who left the team on match day due to life threat and it will be a big challenge for new captain Misbah-ul-Haq to give a fight against strong opposition. Younus Khan's inclusion will strengthen the middle order with Mohammad yousuf. Umar's brother Adnan Akmal will make the debut as keeper.

Pakistan selectors announced test team for 2 match series against South Africa in UAE. Misbah-ul-Haq will lead the team for the first time and as keeper Zulqarnain Haider left the team before 5th ODI they still decide on keeper while Younus Khan will return to test team. Azhar Ali also recalled in the team after good show in England while Shoaib Akhtar will not be the part of longest version.

Adnan Akmal, brother of Umar and Akmal will replace retired Haider for test series while Mohammad Hafeez has retained after good show in ODI's in place of Kaneria.
